Victims of Crime 
The Victims of Crime Resource Center is one of many grant-funded programs located on the Pacific McGeorge School of Law campus in Sacramento, California. The Center has operated the State of California's toll-free 1-800-VICTIMS line since 1984. McGeorge students, under attorney supervision, provide information and referral statewide to victims, their families, victim service providers, and victim advocates. The Center is mandated by legislation and is funded through the California Emergency Management Agency (CalEMA). Assistance is available in over 200 different languages.

For those without eye insurance, who have not had an eye exam in the last two years, who are low income, and who have someone in the household working, the California Vision Project will provide an eye exam and glasses if needed. The cost is $10.00 per person and a special application form must be completed.
